One Word ~ Speed. Triple exposure. 36 second per image. Two images combined to create one portrait. Bringing the speed of light together with the speed of a camera shutter.
Sixth Sense ~ intuition ~ giving awareness not explained through normal perception.

One strobe set to face me. Set to 1/32nd power 200 zoom. 6 second exposure at F22 for three exposures within a single image in camera. Combined two triple exposure images together in Photoshop to form this one portrait. Backdrop of gray (ironing board) cloth - started and ended exposure without me in the frame to add "clouded" effect.

Started at 427:47 and worked until 447:03 ~ took just under 20 minutes to realize that what I was trying was not going to work. Ditched the prop and tried again starting at 448:51 and ending at 457.45 ~ just under 10 minutes to shoot five triple exposure frames with the select two images I would work with to make my photo of Speed. ©2017 Karen Bobotas Photographer
